You work for Schneider? How do they monitor your CPAP usage?

Have you guys have bad masks ? You can change that or look at your sleep data and see what's going on. Is the mask leaking or not enough air pressure. Maybe your have Clear air apnea. Look at the data and see what the cpap machine is seeing.

Their is a program called Sleepyhead. You can come seethat program to see your sleeping data and see what's going on. Sometimes you just need to adjust to sleeping with a mask on.

Do you have enough humidity. If the air is cold and dry you can get a heated air tube and it will adjust the humidity and temps automatically on some cpap machines

Sorry, not a fan of this machine. Was forced on it from my company and DOT doctor. I am 5' 11" and at the time of testing my weight was 218 pounds now I want to be retested because I lost weight and now 197 pounds and still dropping weight. Company doesn't want to retest me, I asked to be retested and they keep giving me the run around.

    Lepton1 Thanks this.

Perhaps on the next physical by a D.O.T, certified physician, he or she might be able to take you off of the CPAP machine.
If you have already lost 20+ pounds and are still losing weight, there should be no need for you to continue using the CPAP machine.

God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!

I'd probably just get a dog and make it wear the mask for 4 hours a night...problem solved!

Seriously though, I'd just go find another DOT certified doctor and explain your situation. Get another apnea test and see what happens..

Nothing wrong with getting a second opinion especially if you have insurance that covers it.

    tucker and Lepton1 Thank this.
