34 hours off is a joke. OTR is more of a joke with this one day off for every 7 out nonsense. I work 5 days during the week and my hometime is typically 60-62 hours a weekend.

That 34 hours off includes the commute back
And forth to work. 1 nights sleep and anything
That has to be done around the house or
Personal business that needs to be taken care of.

I don't see any time off in there.

There's not much time that's why it takes a special kinda driver to succeed here you get use to the schedule and for the most part I average about 40 to 44 hours off but yes that includes my drive home and back but I love what I do

Better you than me I guess. Im used to taking 7+ days off after 4 weeks of work. And most of those weeks I am.at our yard or home for a restart anyway.

Doesn't sound bad but I personally can't do 4 weeks in a truck

I'm home for my re start or at the yard for the restart 99% of the time anyway, and still getting more time off every week than an Ashley driver does

I turned down an ltl job offer in Des Moines back in 2015 because of the lack of any reasonable vacation/ personal time. I waited and found better pay, better benefits, easier work, similarly nice equipment, and home every week with Sherwin Williams. I'm glad I didn't take their offer. I tried to negotiate for a 2nd week of vacation after 1 year but they wouldn't budge off of the bad joke of waiting 3 years for 2 weeks.
