Oh sure. I thought that thing has rusted out by now. Tires are outstanding, for what they are... bet that thing is running.

There was an interview with Shirley Jones not long ago and they asked her if that show could be made now.

She said no. The world can't handle that kind of happy anymore.

Is that the original authentic bus? If so it is a shame it has been allowed to rot out like that.

That's a mid 60's gmc platform. Aint it? Maybe a big 460 or 500 block in it.

The nose looks like a '67 or '68, maybe a 396 or 454 under the hood.....GMC also came out with an experimental gas V6 about that time with big bores, forget the total CID though...Where's the yard, Middletown or maybe Saratoga area?....Cassidy used to trek up to the Saratoga racetrack regularly, until his issues caught up with him there....

They better hide that thing then. Those 454's are worth the entire vehicle scrap if they can haul it out and drop it into something else to race it. We pulled one out of a church station wagon once, stripped the emissions crap out of it, retuned it into a monster. We never did find the top end on that one.

    tucker and clausland Thank this.
