Can you become a trainer with a dog in the truck?

I would not want to be a trainee with my trainers dog in the truck. Just my thing, dogs can be finicky, and very territorial, your dog might be a well mannered, good tempered animal, my boxer has never bitten anyone, but he's got issues with certain people. What happens if your dog doesn't like a trainee? What happens if you both happen to get out of the truck at the same time, then your trainee comes back to the truck without you and the dog won't allow him in the truck?

In the end, I think it's a bad idea

 

Do you want to train??? Or have your companion _it you? Suspect ya' can't do both, for the obvious reasons.

 

Looking at it from a trainee side, I have to share a 6x6 space with someone I don't know, and I get very little of it, usually what will fit on my bunk and in my bag, and then team driving I use a sleeping bag and the lower bunk with my pillow. If there is a dog involved, I now have to share the bottom bunk with you and your dog. I will bet the dog would rather be on the bed than the floor, No thanks.
There are some that may not mind.

Depends on the company, the student & the dog, Nugget. Three potentially messy variables.

 

Are you crazy? No I don't want the liability if it should bite a nervous student. Or a stressed one.

Training students should be a pure class room in that cab, no distraction.
