The fan might work, or it might not. The refer is not designed to create a positive pressure, only to recirculate the air in the trailer. I don't know how much air flow you can get through the drain holes.

This reminds me of that Simpsons episode where Bart and Homer are camping in a tent hooked to the refrigerator during a heat wave, until it burns out.
Intothesunset, OPUS 7 and bottomdumpin Thank this. -
If it worked or was even remotely able to be made to get close to working , don't you think every reefer company on earth would be doing it?
Intothesunset Thanks this. -
Intothesunset and buddyd157 Thank this.

I'd get my AC fixed. You ever smelled a reefer? While not always unpleasant, it's not an odor you want in your cab.
Again I ask, why the hell not get his AC fixed?Intothesunset, magoo68 and buddyd157 Thank this. -

I drove a 78 4070B that was set up to hook the refrigerant lines from the tractor to the reefer unit so the reefer would run truck ac. Unfortunately the reefer I pulled wasn't set up to work with it and boss wasn't interested in hooking it up. So no ac for me since truck had no compressor of it's own.
Intothesunset Thanks this. -
Today you smell like a carrot tomorrow maybe pork etc etc
Intothesunset, PE_T and D.Tibbitt Thank this.
