I listened to a similar scenario blow out of proportion at the pilot. Cant remember where. However showers were pretty backed up and a couple or team walked off and their number was up the screen for a long time. Cleaning guy asked if i was that number i said no. Eventually the number got cleared and my number was up.

The couple must have came back and raised holy hell because they were passed up. My number was up there so i went and did my thing. Snuck by the cleaning guy and got in the shower room and i heard the 2nd round of #####ing commence. Cleaning guy apologized perfusely etc etc to the couple. Let them have the next one when he was finished cleaning it.

All preventable.

 

This sounds like the beginning of a really great reality show.

"The truckers aren't getting along. Someone will be voted off the truck today. Someone will be sent home from orientation. Who will fail their drug test? The drama will unfold as Drivers fail their physicals, their undisclosed employment history surfaces, and their DAC reports are subjected to irreparable harm. Stay tuned..."

I could take this and run with it but i've typed enough novels on truckers report...

 

A nother case of adults behaving like children...

 

Well you should of just let a driver go in front of you. 5 mins is 5 extra mins ppl got to wait. Loves would of just bumped you down a number....

 

If it wasnt for a fact that its always crowded, it would become my favorite truck stop

 

just shows you don't care about anybody but yourself just like the guys that pull into the fuel pumps and run into the store for just a minute.

 

I currently am not trucking but, I do a lot of driving and I've always owned Diesel 3/4 or 1 ton trucks. I've done showers at loves, Pilot, Flying J ex. But the thing that PISSES ME OFF THE MOST. when I'm not pulling a trailer i use the car pumps. so when a inconsiderate, POS, pee drinking, yellow-belly, crack sniffer pulls his/her what the heck ever in a diesel lane, especially when there is only one. I WANT TO MURDER THEM. ok I'm ok now. hmmm hmmmm hmmmm hmmmm. Goozee fraba, goooozzee fraaabaa...

 

Reason numbers 7 and 11 Why I make my own coffee and I hate crappy loves.

 

I avoid Love's for this reason too. Its either packed because of peak hours or they haven't cleaned any during the middle of the night due to only one employee.

I'd suggest using the pilot or TA/Petro app. It shows how long the wait is, so you queue the shower while you park then walk in and handle business. Easy.
