Cypress Truck Lines ran an ad for free cdl school if you live within 50 miles of Jacksonville. That's a flatbed company. Don't know if the offer is still valid, but can call and ask.
Google shows the ad from 2015, so maybe it's still good.

Don't know how the pay is with Cypress. I think they stay mostly in the east/southeast.
I always made good money pulling reefers coast to coast. Maybe get some answers from some Cypress drivers is you swing by the terminal in Jacksonville.
