  1. GoPro has a cap attachment does take a little to slow your head movement so it's not a blur as you turn quick.

Sorry I am new to flat bedding, I have used straps as a X Cross. Are you talking about using two sets of chains/binders by doing a X cross? Again I'm a rookie so any advice using chains is a plus. I was told if it has wheels it gets chained. I picked grain bin parts and noticed guys using chains so I asked. I am not afraid or embarrassed to ask I want to survive and succeed. Thanks!.

Yes. The chains would cross on the front of the piece . The only way it can go forward then is to break the chains.

On each side you would run a chain from the edge of the trailer over the piece. Down at an angle on the front. Then go under the piece to the opposite side you started from. Do this on both sides and the piece will be secured from moving forward.

Just to make sure. One side would start on the side of the cargo and then end up on the other side in front of the cargo. Same way on the other side. and you would do this on the back as well?
I have not used chains a whole lot. Maybe twice. I have a quickdraw system and it is easy to tighten the straps. With Chains I would have to go inside and climb on the stuff I'm hauling to check it. Sometimes this is not feasible. The only option would be open the quickdraw up to get to the front and back-sometimes.
    thanks for your help!

    I agree with you.
The only thing I would add, is that for that amount of weight for steel, I noticed he had only one belly wrap on the very front of the load, and it looked like a 2" ratchet strap.
Had he used a chain on the front and then another in the middle he could have prevented that much forward movement.
Also I didn't see any kind of blocking or stop in front of the load.

    Airborne and cke Thank this.
