They need there GPS to tell them. Remember common sense is a illegal thought now a days. If the computer dont say no. Then one-click can go under a 9' underpass.

Do you ever use Google maps? I use them and scroll esp if I see railroad tracks, or to seeing if there is a better way in than what the RM pulls up. Don't know if it would have shown that closed section of the road or not, sometimes it will. Seems like all the Thermo King dealers are in little, bitty old areas that you have to go down small streets to get to. Doesn't help that RM has its'own mind.☺G13Tomcat and scottied67 Thank this.

No they are too hard to use for me. Well, it could be a problem with firefox browser though too.G13Tomcat Thanks this.

Too hard for me as well, on a flip fone.NavigatorWife and scottied67 Thank this.

Tablet and phone not as good, I am using a tablet at the moment and I cannot do as much with Google maps as I can with a laptop, esp moving the road by pulling it around and doesn't have the ability to put the little Google man on the road for a close-up look. I think I will stick to Google browser if maps won't work on the Firefox. Can't live without the maps.G13Tomcat and scottied67 Thank this.

If they are stupid enough to hit something by following a GPS then they are also stupid enough to hit something without it. It has nothing to do with a GPS, it has to do with stupidity plain and simple.
tinytim, Bean Jr. and NavigatorWife Thank this. -
Pretty much sums it up. Like the vid that's posted with all the box truck hitting the bridge and all the warnings and sirens and lights going off.Corporal_Clegg and NavigatorWife Thank this.

The big issue with GPS is using a GPS phone app or a cheap car GPS . People do not want to spend money on a GPS thats programed for a truck , i can set the parameters for my truck , and what i haul. Yes I still look at the map , road signes , and all the other stuff . The GPS is just a tool I would say if you use the correct gps its a 80 percent solution , the last 20 is common sense .
Bean Jr., G13Tomcat and NavigatorWife Thank this.
