CB Radior or Dash Cam?

CB will be more useful day-to-day...IF he bothers to ever turn it on. Dash cam might just save his bacon if he's ever involved in an incident. Either one would be a decent gift IF you do your homework and buy a quality one instead of the cheapest junk you can find. Or get him a good bluetooth...you know, so he can call you and be legal while you chat.

 

Hard to buy for a trucker unless you know exactly what fits/runs in his truck and what equipment he prefers. Go Amazon gift certificate for either one and let him decide.

Fancy homecooked meal and a bottle of champagne always works, btw

 

I'd get him a dash cam. Cb radio, you're better off buying at a reputable cb shop where it would be tuned and tweaked to his truck, and perhaps have the power boosted up a bit.

Dash cams are simple and don't require any "tweaking" out of the box.
