I bet I could have. If I didn't like home as much as I do.
Learn how to manipulate that clock. When you're not making $$$ it's not running.

FM's like drivers who stack time or drivers who stay out for weeks? I was just looking at the idea of storing my stuff for $205 in my unit and getting rid of my apartment for a couple years while I save all my money and just travel to india on my off time. Of course, she wants us to marry here, we just agreed that it was a good idea to save plenty of money so we can buy our dream home. I say 40k minimum, but that wouldn't even be high enough if I didn't have my online business that brings me to that 70k mark with the 40k.
Of course it's not all about the money, I just love being out on the road. -
Seems like Abilene Motor Express would be better for you since they're headquartered in Richmond,VA
They're doing some west coast runs now and they have regional if you want to be stuck in a certain area.
Trucks run 72 mph.
Holland Enterprises Inc. is another good outfit for those that like long haul coast to coast runs.

Depends on what you plan on doing. I think OTR is paying 35cpm for new drivers, different accounts pay different I believe. Making 40k a year shouldn't be a problem at all, hometime really depends on where your running and where home is. The closer you are to a terminal or drop yard the easier it is to route you home. Not sure how much hometime you can take at once, I think if your gone for too long they figure you aren't coming back

Pay on the dedicated fleets is usually pretty good.
Team pay is also pretty good.
But they completely fail to discipline the solo 48 dispatchers, which makes it incredibly difficult to make a living in that division.
If the team division is an A-, the solo 48 and regionals are lower than F. They're so low that an F does not adequately express how much they fail. -
Looks like someone needs their hand held.

Let's just get to the point.
How is the pay at Werner?
Not good. Lol -
There's a reason why no Omaha based driver would work for Werner ..
Yuk !
