Pop the governor off the truck and run the speed limit, you'll have less failed loads that way!

Anything else is BS double talk that unnecessarily confuses everyone. -
I think a lot of drivers would like that way of getting paid. Company A will give you a beginning salary of $52,000 or 120,000 miles a year guaranteed. If you driver more miles we will pay you more.
Company B will pay for your miles and hope for the best or hope they have the miles. Maybe company B will even pay more per mile but it all depends on if they have the loads to keep you going. -
KB trans offers a guarantee of 1125 a week

Who cares if we did 20 miles that week or 20000. The money is good aint it. (Blood money from dispatch...)
That was a time period in which I was watching my poor trainee spouse get paid really poorly something like .25 to start in that right seat and progressing to a pitiful .32 upon completion and successful testing. Her paychecks were a source of a few domestics until I made her understand that I lived on way less than what she is making now in my day. (.20 was top pay back then if you were not lucky enough to do 25% percentage)
When training salary went away and I went on something over .40 (*I quit counting really, because spouse and I was doing .75 or more to the truck together each week now...)
I realized that a minimum of salary that pays at least 1000 to a company driver each week, is the future. That demands a total and complete abolishing of the entire miles based pay we have had since the 1930's
Toss it. Salary these company drivers. Quit the complaining about miles, get to work eh?augiedoggie41 Thanks this. -
