    Your math is wrong. $35k at .40 cpm means you drove 87,500 miles. The formula for this is quite simple. Divide the pay by the cpm to get the miles: 35,000/.40 = 87,500.

    Also, I don't know what companies in your area pay, but I would be highly skeptical of anyone telling you you can make $55k your first year.
