Is k and b using manual or automatic transmissions

I have a DT12 Auto in my 2018 Cascadia. It has a couple of minor quirks like starting out in a lower gear than I would in a manual sometimes (It picks starting gear based on load weight), and it doesn't always down shift when I would.
I do NOT have any backing issues like some complain about. The truck backs real smooth. I don't slam king pins or docks. Overall I like it better than the manual transmission (13 speed) I had before. But, I don't get my jollies shifting gears like some guys/gals. lol -
No they only have a few of those

Autos only advantage are in traffic other than that they suck up hills and unless you can hold the break and gas just right the backing is horrible. There's a reason heavy haul don't use em

That may have been true on the older versions, but not the new models. I don't have any issues backing. It's super smooth.Paul Bunyan Thanks this.
