Just the U.P. I think.
It's usually the problem any carrier I apply to. But I'm see no need to relocate, when I work for 2, or 3 weeks.

Check out companies in Grand Rapids or Flint/Saginaw/Bay City area. Green Bay would be another place to check. I'm in metro Detroit myself, and I've been checking Craigslist ads as far as Tennessee and Nebraska.

I hate Michigan carriers. Most want you to do regional. I like OTR only. Hate overnight loads.Knucklehead Thanks this.
-
I think it depends on the freight they have right now....I've been here almost 2 1/2 years, and I've been to Michigan oh... maybe one or two times. I used to go into that state more often with past companies but Detroit wasnt the ghost town it's become now, and the last time I went into that area a few years ago it looked like a war zone.
-
Same here. Do not want regional.
Have you checked with Equity?
AN Webber doesn't have l/p, but they do go all over. Might be worth talking to them. -
I am trying to find a company using old trucks so I can use paper logs. But I may need to use elog. I just hate slog also. They just make me so **** pissed off. Or I make the elog upset.
Knucklehead Thanks this. -
I hate to say it but pretty soon the whole industry is going to be on elogs whether we like it or not.
-
Hell, this whole industry will have no employment in the near future.
-
Got the scoop from GP. They do lp their own trucks. Currently it is their 2014s and 15s.
-
The few drivers I talked to they liked it, from what they said the payments weren't too bad, my guess is they will work with you on an affordable payment. My big concern with it is how it'll affect loads on the company side.
