There aught to be a font for irony. It would help avoid forum misunderstandings.

I used to deer hunt with a 71 Chrysler New Yorker.Around 5200 lbs and 18 feet long. But seriously,in a rig,I avoid swerving. Now if no other traffic is around,I will do a lane adjustment(time permitting),Never a full tilt sweve though.Seen a guy swerve about 3/4 of a mile ahead of me...to miss an elk..and Lay it Over. Not good.JReding, Bob Dobalina and fargonaz Thank this.

I tagged two back in December, swerving never crossed my mind for a second. Only had a little bumper damage. Clip is sped up, btw.

Lucky. I just hit my first deer (in any vehicle) last night. #### thing came out of nowhere. I didn't bother trying to slow down or swerve, just hit it head on. I think I was momentarily thinking I was in my previous truck that had a bull bar on it. I was two miles from where I was going to be switching out with my team driver so I drove down the road and pulled into the fuel island to check out the damage. Currently being towed 120 miles to the nearest dealer for repairs. Busted radiator being the worst of it. They didn't even bother looking at the rest since they didn't have a replacement radiator where we were. Definitely did a number on the truck, though.Lepton1 Thanks this.
