    It doesn't require signal.

And it'll work in airplane mode.

Tablets don t have phones built in. UNactivated phones work just fine. my sprint note2 was in airplane mode as I got tired of the unable to find signal code or whatever it was everytime in the boonies. The phone wasn't even activated to even be looking for a signal.

It's a full fledged map downloaded to your device. And I paid $150. But some say there's other options of paying.

It has nothing to do with the cities. The maps has the loop the same "weight" as the thru city routes on the map segments, thus the router sees them as equals. For HazMat, you need to take the loops. It has been brought up and HERE has to change their Map Database to allow this.. I suggest if you want to go around on the loop, simply take that way and the route will adjust.

I have a rand tnd 530 with just under a half million miles on it so far. That works out to about .05¢ per mile.

Just saying don't worry much about price, it's inconsequential really.

Start a conversation with me. I run a Support Thread for the RM Products under Support Thread for the TND 500, TND 700 or future Rand McNally products. (part two)

Locking up was on the EL model for a certain run. The newer ones are LH and unless you have a corrupted Map file or User file it should not lock up.

Feel free to point anyone to me and I will assist them.
