Greg, this guy forgot to mention he's a Swift driver. But that's pretty good for dedicated.

There are threads on here with drivers talking about running Walmart grocery loads (dedicated at grocery DCs). Apparently, around $500/week is about average.

Thanks everyone for the great replies so far! I'm going to use some of these tips and see how much it helps...... especially going off duty when I can except for the things I have to be on duty for!

Transfer to 6021 Porterville,Ca your ADP will go way up thats if you can deal with the LA TRAFFIC!! Lots of activity pay shorter run's. I have had up to 15 activity pay just in one day along with 400 miles. There are guy's at our DC that are $400 and above. I average 340 ADP.

Yup you are right it all depends which DC you work out of. Casa Granda,Az is one of them. I have ran there Remix Loads with 19 activity pay just in one day still had over 300 miles. Thats was a $400 day for me.

Just some a tip that may not apply to you.... truck drivers, coordinators, and everyone else will talk you too death. You would be surprised how 15-30 extra minutes every time you go to a dc or similar can add up. But the main thing i would agree on is where you run out of. Most of my activity pay comes out of bedford and gordonsville while my miles come from mt crawford and sutherland. The quickest way to boost your adp would be extending on a 5/2 5/3 especially if your weeks start on the weekend where you get the extra millage pay.

I'm on a 5/2-5/3 so I'm usually not low on hours. I was wanting to get on a 6/3 but not sure now. Are you on local dispatch or the roc?

I'll run my loads out and if I'm coming back to a DC with 2-3 hours depending if I'm tired or not I'll put that on my ETA. Usually the roc dispatches me something out so I get where I can and get off the yard with it. I've found that better deal then say putting a eta as 0600 because a lot or at least mine are on local dispatch still so you're really grabbing something out from under someone that's put the same eta and is sleeping on the yard. Higher seniority takes the best run I'm sure. Sounds bad but it is what it is I'm here to make money. Last two weeks I've done 2,400-2,600 on my schedule. Also I never go off duty ever either because now your just cutting your PTO short.
