    I recently came across an app in the App Store that contained a Walmart locator feature. I didn't download it, and now I can't find it. Does anybody know of an app with a Walmart locator feature? I remember it having a lot of brown in the graphics.

    What's wrong with Google Maps (Search "Walmart")? But seems they'd be a dime a dozen. Most of the various "trucker centric" apps have a Walmart filter such as
    Allstays Truck & Travel and others.

    Always be sure to scope out the satellite view before you head in.

    Also, Walmart store policies are changing fast. Just because a store may be indicated by an app to be "truck friendly", don't put too much reliance on that. Maybe it was a year ago or maybe the parking is very limited and difficult at best.

    I want to be able to plan when I'm several hours or a couple days out. Zooming in and fishing around to try to find a Walmart on Google maps is all right, but I want something more efficient. I did not know trucker path shows Walmart. I'll check that out.

    I've been to places where truck parking is ruled on by a local town ordinance even though the store didn't care.

    If you call, alot of them will tell you not to park or to only stay long enough to shop and get out.

    I've had better luck with parking and then talking to a manager face-to-face. The problems come at 0400-0500 when the day shift managers come in. The are usually the ones that want you gone ASAP.

    I think if you leave the truck that is considered parking in the city limits. If you are inside the truck, for all they know, he just came out of the store for a shopping trip.
