Well I've been talking to a recruiter at Dana. Originally I responded to an ad about hauling frack sand in a dry bulk tanker in eastern Ohio, PA, & WV, but then she mentioned the Liquid Transport Corp. terminal doing dedicated work in Tiffin, OH 40 something miles from the house. So I applied with LTC. The terminal manager called tonight, & seems like a good old boy. He asked what I was looking to do. He then started talking about me driving one of his trucks instead of a company truck. He claims to pay better than the company trucks, but doesn't offer benefits. So now I'm not sure what to do. When I asked about how much the company trucks payed vs. driving for him he said he wasn't sure. He said everyone at the terminal is driving his trucks. The LTC website says to contact the terminal manager for pay info. Outside of that snafu it sounds like a decent gig. Any of y'all have any insight into this?
