    ELOGS will reduce traffic too.

When I wake up in Flagstaff and drive 640 miles east in my 62 mph truck, the same fast trucks pass me again and again and again and again. And if elogs helps them keep the left door shut and drive

But that has nothing to do with elogs.
ELOGS protect me, I don't want to get unloaded during my 10 hour break. I love the 10 hour break.

I think your elog won't trigger the drive line for 5 miles, but it does subtract that time once you pass that threshold. However, if you drove 4.9 miles, stopped and waited 5 minutes, you could drive another 4.9 miles before it switches to the drive line.
Next time you start your day, take notice of your 8 hr clock when it switches to the pie chart page. You'll notice the clock started the moment your wheels began rolling, 5 miles ago.
Referring to JJ Keller app for all those wandering.

I've heard it's supposed to. That as soon as the wheels move it's going to register you driving. Gonna suck to be at a customer & get out in driving because you have to move from the staging area to the door. May have to get an older truck & find someone that will lease it on & go back to paper.

You can legally move around On Duty after your 14 expires.

Still counts against your 70 & interrupts a 10 hour break.
