Hello Ironman, Congrats on your different trucking job.A few things i dont understand about your story.You state it's been awhile since youve read about the "pains n frustrations", yet you are amazed at the abuse?
Nobody appreciates being woken up-I take it you didnt recieve permission from the wal-mart(private property)to park as you did?
Sounds like YOUR otr career choice didnt measure up to your family obligations.Sorry that didnt work out-at least you gave it a shot.
I'm glad you dont drive for me,i have recieved the wrong address a time or 2 n sent my driver to such(it happens)-but he never threatened abandonment.Thats wrong!
Everyone i talk to dispises the govt-aka(big brother-gooberment-etc) laws,e-logs,speed limits,chicken coops---------------dont take it personal,just funny to read now the goverment is supposed to help AND supply hotels for truckers.Thank you for the laugh of the day!
You'll never get everybody to shut down-we all need our pennies-some have a wife,15 kids n a lease payment on a home they might own in 15/30 yrs.
Why care about what the super rich can do-worry about what you can do-your family depends on it!

When you Quit-did you leave the truck or return it cleaned out?

I agree with you 100% , I will not say who I work for because I don't want no one to jump on my back as a recruiter, but what I take home in a week,it will take 2 months for a 12 HR job to come close

 

Doesn't surprise me at all. Just another mega low life bottom of the barrel company. They'll have another shmuck in that truck in no time.

 

If l drove for you,would you pay me to fuel the truck ?..if not,please explian to me why l should do anything for free??

I read the title of the thread. I was expecting to see 4 videos of Celadon screw-ups ala Swift. I'm disappointed.

 

Because it really sucks running out of fuel, and I've still never seen a full service fuel island. ITS PART OF THE JOB.....
