Anyone have their company try to get everyone to voluntarily download a company app, supposedly to be able to track your loads, mileage, pay and win prizes, etc...?
I really like who I drive for, but sorry, my suspicious nature throws a red flag up on that one.
I'm not generally Mr. Conspiracy Theorist, but I don't believe for one minute they don't have some underlying, nafarious reason for wanting people to put an app on their phone.
One thing that comes to mind is the infamous Walmart app that tracks when you're talking on the phone.
Sorry, ain't gonna happen on my phone. Lol

Take a look at the permissions the app is asking for before you install it. If it's asking for call and gps data, then yeah, your probably correct.

How do you do that? Sorry, I'm not very smart phone smart. lol

On Android, not sure about iPhone, in the Google Play Store, find the app page you are interested in. Scroll all the way down til you see the words Permission Details. Tap on that and it will show you the permissions you agree to upon installation.ReeferRick Thanks this.
