Now taking early landfall projection bets (to the state). Hopefully this one will curve out towards the open north Atlantic. But it's unusual to see them this well organized this early off the African continent, however, they think upper level winds will be inclined to tear it apart as it moves further westward? We'll see.

The petro is onn the west side. The driver was on the east side. The bouldercrest dump (aka pilot) was closest to him. But that place never has parking

Plus that Petro may have been full by the time he shut down. Especially given the circumstances with the impending arrival of Irma. Every truck driver within Atlanta may have been shut down there.

Especially in the hot, muggy weather areas in the country. To make this worse, I heard on the news that there is a regular hospital across the street from that nursing home.

To be fair, as was noted earlier, having whole-building HVAC system on generator backup is rarely feasible but at least you can power critical machines and systems, and some fans to keep air circulating through.

16kW might be a bit much for a standard central air unit.

    Power Consumption for Trane System

Quoted from post #8 in the thread--

    Generator
Start up amps for an inductive motor is usually 7-8 times rated. I live in Tampa and most of the homes that have back-up generators are usually 12-17.5kw and includes using 1 ac usually calculated for 2.5-3 tons.
