I've driven my fair share of lanes over the last decade and have humped around a few companies. All in all, I'd say I don't jump around as much as most drivers do these days. Overall I've driven for 4 companies: 2 of which I've enjoyed.

I liked KLLM when I drove for them but had to leave when my miles dropped and stayed low. I'm one to hang in there, but when the situation wasn't changing, and tension grew between me and my fleet mananager, I had to look elsewhere.

I came across LTI Trucking about 6 or 7 years ago, not many people (including me) had heard of them back then and that still seems to be the case with most people I talk to now. I gave them a chance and have been with them ever since. Like I said, for the most part I feel KLLM is a good company, but LTI Trucking stands far above the rest, atleast from my experiences.

First, they give me the miles I need. Sometimes miles go up, sometimes they go down. When my miles are down, I've hung in there as theyve promised things will pick back up, and they usually do. Early on I wasn't a huge fan of my fleet manager. But over the last few years I've had some great managers that treat me the way (it seems) most companies dont. When I go to the office, they'll take me out to lunch and hang out with me.

4 Years ago my step son died and LTI flew my out to be with my family and covered funeral expenses. & there have been other times where LTI was willing to work with me on my needs. the company always talks about being a family, and I think the execs truly feel that way- atleast from the ones I've met with/spoken to.

LTI used to do Guarantee Pay but they stopped doing that awhile back. That was one of my main disappointments but they've done a lot for me and have given me the miles where I don't usually need the guarantee (atleast most weeks, but there are some times where it sure would be nice). Like I've said, the good outweighs the bad.

I'll leave my name off this post, as I just read the thread about not being allowed to refer drivers for profit. Just want to let yall know about LTI and want to know what yall have heard about it, good or bad, if you've heard anything.

Are you saying LTI as in Larson Trucking Inc out of Michigan, or another company? If it is Larson, I was wondering about them...if not, my bad...(saw one of their trucks recently that had the "LTI capitalized on the logo, and smaller letters in a different font to complete their name)

No it is LTI Trucking Services. Their trucks are all white with a red & blue logo. It's based in St Louis, although I think they drive in Michigan.

Thinking about joining them in mid Oct. CPM seems attractive but miles appears to be low. Hopefully they're being cautious with the sales pitch & there are more miles than they let on; I have to think so because the recruiter told me they turned down 500 loads a week or so ago. 500 loads is what she said & seems way too high for a smallish company but my point or rather question is there have got to be more than 2,200 miles a week no?

I am removing them from a good company. Drivers once removed from their "New Driver Board " miles crash to about 1400 milesa week, twice they have lost my hometime request.
