NYC trucking? I would love love love to know how that three ring circus works out for anyone.

 

People actually live there(why, I don't know), get it done(how, I don't know) and make a living at it. Folks like us don't get that whole $4000/mo broom closet and $20 cup of coffee thing, but to each their own.

Gate Gourmet delivers food carts to airliners. Three of their customers are LaGuardia, John F. Kennedy International, Newark Liberty International.

 

New England Motor Freight (NEMF) in Elizabeth NJ runs all 5 boros, Long Island, CT, PA and more. Older equipment, LTL carrier with good pay and benefits. I'm not sure but I think they are Teamsters. Another real good company with a mix of work including LTL, dedicated and even regional truckload is A. Duie Pyle, corprate offices in West Chester, PA and terminals all over the northeast.

 

YRC is always looking For Drivers! Terminal in Plainview, and my Barn in Deer Park. NEMF has a yard in Old Bethpage, as does Central transport. New Penn is in Maspeth Queens. Any Help??

Yeah, i was going to say we (freight) have a terminal in brooklyn, although i don't know much about it----was there only once late at night. And, one in BayShore/Islip. Then, we have a few on the Jersey side.
