Thanks man. It's looking like one of my top choices. Interstate was ok. Actually I knew going in that it was rather sparsely populated, which is part of why I decided to go there. I figured if I could do ok there, then anything else I try later should be easy. Last week that I ran the numbers on was 3200 gross on 2000 total miles. Started with a junk load to get me down to Cali from Portland, then found I could get $2 per mile each way going back and forth between Sacramento and Reno. Mixed in some super-shorties on either end to pad the stats and pass the time. Did some similar stuff down by LA too, but eventually had to get home for some things. Was heading back out there for an encore when they announced the game was up. Felt like I was just starting to hit my stride too. Had started to really like those 10 mile drop and hooks for $17.50 per mile. String together 3 of those and call it a day. Not too bad.

 

So at mercer you can lease-purchase a trailer starting on day 1?
