The problem is those short drop and hooks just don't pay. with rare exception, that market has been driven down very low by large companies.

All I know is I signed on to Interstate knowing that it was slim pickings. I figured if I could start there and make that board work for me, then any other board I tried afterwards would be easy.

RStewart Thanks this. -
There's some truth here. It will definitely make any transition easier. Are you going to stay around & run for peanuts since heartland changed things or are you looking to move on as well?
-
On occasion, yeah. I've ran several under 10 mile loads for similar. Ran 3 miles for 500 on a load I was called on while deadheading to my next pickup. It was less than a mile out of route so basically free money to me. It happens. Maybe not every load, but there is plenty of them.spyder7723, slow.rider and RStewart Thank this.
