No. Sometimes I find the loads on the board, sometimes I just call them, & sometimes they call me.

 

You can. I don't call & negotiate very often. Usually the only time I negotiate is if they call me & I don't like the rate. Then I'll tell them what I'll do it for. A lot of times if I'm hesitant they will say they can probably get more money.

Sometimes I just book the load from the board but usually I'll call the agent & make sure it's a good load still & then book it through the agent.

 

That truck belongs to the University of Oklahoma. It's the equipment truck for the football team. It's my last time gig when they need a team driver for long distance away games.

 

40 bucks an hour for a truck owner is not just bad. It's freaking horribly bad. Local work pays 125 to 150 for a 5 axle set up. 3 axle dumptrucks get 75 to 100. And thats down here in the black hole of Florida.
