I guess that's me. HaHa!. Truth hurts sometimes. Hard to fathom Walmart could ever shaft its Drivers... Oops. That just happened. Let's make hay while the sun shines thru February.

Some of the stuff you say makes plenty of sense but talking to drivers around the DC you've got to wonder what meeting they attended.

I agree & see your point, But remember that every DC has their own changes in the works. At my meeting Our Manager brought up one too many times How much cheaper Swift was delivering our Grocery Freight in Texas. Me along with other drivers blasted our Manager about what a slap in the face that was. Then he told us more thsn likely Theyll be awarding Swift all Reefer & Dry Grocery at our Grocery warehouse. When you throw in the fact all the full time drivers we'll have next February than add in no more Grocery runs. Very Bleak outlook. At least for my area.

Driver next time you roll in to temple or Cleburne look at the swifts trucks fairing bent hoods all jacked up and the go to the same stores as we do they might be cheaper but they are not the quality and are not as reliable how many times have they had to bring us in cause swift drivers lay out work for what ever reason

Valid Point ☝. The Nuclear Option could also be that their big plans blow up in their faces, & they lose more money due to store shelves not fully stocked due to poor arrival times on Contractor's part. Be nice if it plays out like that. That would teach a valuable lesson.. You get what you pay for suckers. Top Dollar , gets you Top Driver.

I got out of the meeting with our GTM couple days ago. It wa HIRED after Oct. 1. I remember because I was second to last class hired before that date. And I'm gonna be keeping eyes open to see what's coming in the future too. Only sensible thing TO do.
