####! I wish I would of seen this statement way back,,,, these people bugged me for 2 months via email and phone, they didnt take the hint i wasn't interested when i didn't reply. I finally accepted their offer and god do i ever regret it.
they are terrible and very unorganized when it comes to dispatching, they make your driving experriance very stressful and unreasonable. All they do is push you, it doesnt matter what account your on, the company is just plain ignorant and self rightous, they have violated more rights of a consumer than i can count on my fingers, they are very contradictive and like to twist things around. When I asked for support in certain training issues I was concerned about, i got no where, yeah sure they said they would set things up, phhfff that was total bull, it never came about, but man if you got into a fix and it effected their precious ego, you got lectured about training, the offer and then some, total bs. Any one who likes being treated like crap and looked down on as just a pawn, this is the place to go, if you really don't consider yourself worthy and like abuse cause home life isnt fulfilling your stupidity go for this place, I guarantee you, they will F you over good. A driver while i was employed there told me flat out... Corporate will screw you over they are top notch at that. They have inexperienced fleet managers who are giddy and goofy, also ignorant and demining and if they don't like you cause you disagree with something that might cause your CDL, they will find a way to get rid of you. Very stupid place, I say for those already contracted in with them STAY! any one looking to be with them new to the field, Keep looking. You don't need a place that sees you as a pawn, your a human being, and as much as these liars need you as their chew toy, you need your reputation as good faith not messed with.
I was fine til i went with them. People dont believe peoples stories about bad experiences with companies... but they need to listen... there's a reason why people stray from this place... if they put you in a red flag status then that's why people post info. Companies who hire people under 10 years or less expect a person to be an encyclopedia had have 40 yrs experience in 1 year that's stupid and pretty ignorant. a lot of their night or day crew is messed up on communication, you will talk to 5 or more different people over a call in question about a load or trip and get 5 or more different answers back mostly non making any sense from the last, half of them cant grasp what your asking, others will ask stupid questions when your letting them know your 15 mins away from a destination site and your on time by the way, they come back with.. When will you be there???
    Ah,hello , just told you!
So reconsider please. you don't want to work for someone who dont give a flying #### if you loose your license just so they can make a buck or more do you? cause bottom line that's all you are is an object of accessory. Another thing, if you request to get off the truck for a legit reason like legal, they wont let you off, that's illegal. Allot of these ##### think they own you and you are their property. Bigger sad reality is, Labor Board is clueless to what freedom of rights means. I cant understand how some get into these groups and call themselves the know it alls. Bunch of walking encyclopedias with Empty pages of Blank knowledge.
This world is really screwed up when it comes to common sense.

This is bull crap. Terry tell thou communicate communicate communicate and then tell you talking in any form while driving will get thou fired. Then they send 500 messages a day and call you 20 times a day wanting an immediate response. Ado you have too find a place tho pull over and respond every time and here is another catch, they will check where thou pulled over and if your o.k. the side out the road they'll for you. Then they whine because the load is late and get really upset when thou tell them if they would leave thou the hell alone it wouldn't be late. And don't even get me started o.k. that crappy swingman system and how they use it to screw you. Worked there 3 months and got over 2000 miles one time, I got 2136 miles that week. Between the nagging, the nagging equipment and the very short run loads, thou can't get nothing done and Thor stress level is through the roof. This is by far the stupidest company I have ever worked for.

    *To the Beverly Hillbillies Theme*

You're driving down the road feeling like a chump

Your life is so miserable you just want to jump

Then, suddenly you raise your fist and pump

And scream out loud "I'm done with JB Hunt!"

Lol, that's a winner right there. One of my proudest moments actually was the day I was taking that truck to turn it in. For some reason my dm was working that Sunday and I was suppose to be at home and he saw the truck was moving and called me and this time I just answered on my headset. He asked why the truck was rolling and why I wasn't parked while I was talking to him.and I said remember all those times I told you this wingman crap was screwed up and we agreed you were going to get it in the shop to get it fixed? He said yeah, so, what are you giving up home time to get it fixed? I said yup, bringing it to the shop in Lowell so they can have all the time in the world to get it right. He said what does that mean and I proceeded to tell him exactly what he could do with his truck and informed him that it's computer wasn't the God he thought it was. I actually believe that hurt his feelings more than anything I told him. That computer can't ever be wrong to them. It doesn't matter how many post's or Jersey barriers set it off and cause it to slam on the brakes, it's always a car to close in front of you no matter the fact that that supposed car just appeared and vanished in front of you in a 1 or 2 second window, it had to be the drivers fault, the computer doesn't lie.
I had fun with him that day and several times with their recruiters sending me emails asking me back since then. Oh and here is a hint. If you get nasty enough telling those recruiters off over what happened, they will eventually run out of recruiters that will email you and you stop getting emails from them, lol.

I don't see where broke and starving is a problem with JB Hunt. You are paid every time you hook onto a load down to the exact taxes and withholding to the penny. You should then be able to manage your finances properly like a business as you run.

I ran with them a while myself as a experiment and I did not have too much of a problem except one related to equipment which itself was worked out quickly enough. I am familiar with Northeast Maryland and it's area having been raised near there, what account did you dedicate to?

Yes the dispatchers have a job to cover loads and have trucks loaded and rolling, that is the bottom dollar way of making a living in this industry. You get a cut of that money as your wages. What then is the problem?

Who cares if Mr Good and Mr OMG best got fired? They are not your problem. ANY one can come and go from employment "At-will" in this industry at any time, including you.

What is left? I don't see a problem yet.

I wouldn't touch them with a 10 foot pole. Too many horror stories. And with the inflated prices and taxes from PA and North, your 60 gross won't go far.
