Same here. There's 30 seconds I'll never get back.

This clown is dumber than dog ####. -

Yeah, I drove 30 miles on a remote two lane in Wyoming before getting a phone signal with a flat tire on the trailer. After discussion with Swift On Road we both agreed the best option was to limp another 30 miles to a safe place to park and wait for road service. No shoulder on that road.

Sometimes it can't be helped.
I have had times that Swift asked me if I could get to the nearest place for repairs. Sometimes I was OK with it and sometimes not.
But I was never pressured into doing something that I was uncomfortable with. If I decided to stop right there, they would arrange a repair truck.
If I simply have a flat tire and there is no debris coming off I might decide to keep running, but if I have a blown tire that is throwing chunks of tread I will stop on the side if I can and wait for the repair truck.Lepton1 Thanks this. -
I'm the same way. It'll still be flat when I get to the tire shop. As long as it isn't falling apart, rubbing an airbag or the other tire,I usually get it fixed without sitting on the shoulder.
I've been pulled over a couple times by cops because I had a flat tire. I told them what tire it was and that I knew it was flat. They told me I could keep on going.Last edited: Oct 27, 2017
