Have you ever even been to the dealership?
Lot of scammers on the internet. If that is the only contact(email) you have had with them you are only going to get the bare minimum for information.
I bought a new 2014 Volvo 780. Price on the quote was about $218K, after discount $141K.
If you want the real price you will probably have to show up in person. -
Every time we have a chance to go to a dealership it was always on a weekend and they’re always closed. The rest the week we are always on a load and don’t have the time

@Midnightrider909
My folks bought a 2007 KW t600 ISX 475 with 100k on the rebuild, 18 speed with a rebuild, 120 inch Sleeper with shower, oven, etc from Shelby Elliot in Sikeston for 70k. They've been running it for a year, the engine has been trouble free, the only part he replaced is the starter and batteries and a few hoses. And the voltage regulator on the alternator messed up, so he changed it out. I think the Onan generator has given him the most trouble due to shoddy wiring from the install.
I drove it yesterday pulling about 25k. It pulls effortlessly.We swapped out to the Donaldson m100463 muffler, put a turbo blanket and exhaust wrap on, did some adjusting (cough) to the egr system and it gets between 7 and 8 mpg depending on terrain. Added some clear LED lights, nice drop visor, and changed the grille. It's a sharp looking dependable truck.Midnightrider909 Thanks this. -
Volvo's are most overrated trucks you can buy. Id rather buy a brand new flat-top Pete and in 10 years its still gonna be worth more than 4 volvos of its age/mileage.
7-UP Thanks this. -
Take out the passanger seat. Put a 3' tall fridge in that spot and glue a cushion to the top of it. Bingo problem solved.Midnightrider909 Thanks this.

Nothing overrated about the comfort. Petes are designed for smaller people. I sat in one just once. I could only drive it hunched. I need to stretch me legs while in the sleeper too. I would not buy a new Pete for 15 dol even. Even if I would buy it for 15 dol, I'd sell it for 15.75 to a smaller dude. You see, I am not even greedy.Midnightrider909 Thanks this.

Since when are Volvos over rated? Volvo gets bashed as much or more than any other brand. There are things that Volvo does better than the competition especially when it comes to cab interior. I wouldn't even consider spending a month on the road in a flat top Pete regardless of resale value.
Nobody can claim an advantage when it comes to drivetrains because of the emissions crap.TallJoe, Midnightrider909 and Tb0n3 Thank this. -
Yes you do need bigger/comfy interior of Volvo as you'll be sitting on the shoulder waiting for a tow truck. Prepare to be comfy in your Volvo

Or you can get a mini fridge from Sears for $105 and not pay $500+ for Volvo built-in fridge...
