Sadly not true... They denied me employment, stating I had to good of a driving record, spoke to professionally without cussing every 4 words, didn't wear flip flops, basketball shorts, and tank top 3 sizes too small. Oh well flame on

Interesting, just talked to a Schneider recruiter about their WalMart dedicated in Sterling,IL. I looked at the Flex schedule job but frankly who can work for .14 CPM and $15 after first stop? I thought she told me wrong. Yet Schneider will pay .50 CPM and same stop pay for 3 days on 4 off position? Sure don't understand their pay schemes? Obviously you now pay a steep price to be home more frequently. Not sure if these sort of jobs are worth it? Also being all night work and the fact you will wait at WalMart stores to unload and get to next stop. I just think the only one making money here is Schneider and WalMart.

Even if your numbers are wrong, it still would not be worth it with go nowhere carriers like Walmart of SNI. To make your life even better, the people you'll be dealing with all night are the same whales Al Bundy had as customers at his shoe store. They'll think they're above you because someone promoted them to assistant to the assistant to the assistant receiver at the store. Not one will show any urgency to do their job with any professionalism or at any pace. These are the lowlife, bottom of the barrel people that drove off all the good people who tried to work at the store. With every pallet they'll complain to you why you brought so much stuff while crashing each skid into a wall or other pallets.

Couldn't have said it better myself. All this talk about not wanting Walmart to end up like Kmart or Sears... I say , its already going the way of Kmart. Just like Walmart crushed Kmart and other competitors back in the 70s 80s etc. Amazon is doing to Walmart. Thats a fact. Who's to say Kmart and Sears didn't try to slow Walmart's roll back in the day???

Walmart has always been in its own class with the dredges of society, it offers a place for people to shoot up needles, park their run down RV's, a truckstop to throw piss bottles that wont be cleaned up outside, gang activity and the etc. Until Amazon becomes a food stamp receiving king like Walmart, this place has nothing to worry about as it seems no one else wants to touch the human trash Wally embraces into its arms.

Oh my the yahoo's that complain about why your bringing so much stuff!!!!!! Man those are the ones that do about 2.75hrs of work on a 8 hr shift. And they will give you a horrible look if a pallet has turned over. Or collapsed because the DC loaded water bottles on top of Ramon noodles.

If a .38 special has to hear these ppl and get paid less. Then they might just walk over to sporting goods and purchase a box of federal HP load up and off themselves!!!!!!!

OK with an average of 7 stps a day pulling gro. And abt a 350 mile round trip that's $154 a day. That's a worthless job, since others get paid more to do the same thing.

    Steel Dragon Thanks this.

That's why delivering groceries blows. Having to chase people down to unload their product . Then dealing with the pos' that go hide when they see a Walmart driver. I got into quite a few times with lazy pos workers when I delivered into DFW some years back. The right thing to have done would have been to go to my truck and call my office and let them handle it. But I couldn't help myself, here's what happened. I arrive to store , 1st stop of 2 stops on route. I made contact and told the Lazy Walmart back room employee Id be back in 20 minutes and Id be at Subway in store. I come back and he had already had 2 pallets collapse on him. So he was p'd off. Understandable, he saw me standing there watching him and started telling his other bro .." i f'n hate these lazy Walmart drivers just standing there all the time I'm sick of this ####!" Mind you, Im 12 maybe 15 feet away. Clearly he gave a Rats A_$ if I heard him or not. I walked away. Came back 5 minutes later, hes still downstacking a pallet and he starts with the F_<k Walmart drivers rant. Thats when I engaged... I asked the kid, " whats all that you're saying about wm drivers?!" He yells " Motherfu~>krr you heard me!"

I walked closer towards him and Told him

" motherf___€er if you don't like Walmart drivers , go find another f'n job !"

Him: " my problem is you're just standing there , and all the other Walmart drivers help me unload!"

Me: " my job is to deliver and bump your dock with freight , i did my job, you're job is to unload!, I don't touch freight per Walmart!"

The worst , very worst part of this story is , unbeknown to me ... There was an asst mgr hidden behind some pallets in a small desk doing paperwork the whole dang time! She heard this clown ranting and cussing me/Walmart Drivers out. The worthless broad only came around after the crap hit the fan and directed the pos to go elsewhere. Not one of my best days working for Walmart.
