I wouldn't go cutting and splicing any wires. That'd bad advice and doesn't fix your problems.
Another important question is, does your truck have an SRS system? Air bag? easy way to tell is looking at your steering wheel. If you do, the module is usually located at the rear of the driver seat.

I don't know the type of ICU, I don't have any fault codes. How to reset? And I don't have a SRS on the steering wheel.
-
Well depending on the type of ICU you have on your unit, I would try doing an ICU EE rEsET is what it will look like.
There will either be a "mode reset" button on your ICU or you'll have to navigate to the "setup information" screen.
I think it'd be fair to say that you could bring your truck into any FTL dealer and have them do a courtesy ICU EE reset. It doesn't take any tools or anything and takes less than 5 mins to do. -
On your instrument panel there should be a button, when you press button it will change the miles to a different display. with key on and engine not running press button till you see "reset", After you have released the button and reset is displayed, press and hold button. Seat belt light should go out.

I have buttons + and - on the steering wheel for that, I don't have on the instrument panel. And when I clear all dash faults by holding the button + , the red light remains on dash board. This procedure doesn't work. I bought the computer and DDDL software but I can't find where to turn it off. Clearing all faults in the computer doesn't help. There are no wires under the seat and no wires connected to the receptacle. It is somewhere in the computer.

Do you know where this ICU EE reset is in the DDDL?
-
Can you unplug the electrical connection below the seat belt buckle near the floor? Then just put some electrical tape over the red light. No more annoying light, no more beeping.
-
There is no EE RESET in DLink. It has to be performed on the module itself. I can't remember if you told me the type of ICU you have.
You either have an ICU3X or ICU4M. Both have slightly different procedures for resetting this. I can help you out with both.marat80 Thanks this. -
ICU4M, I have "My Info" button instead of "Mode/Reset" button.
I found the Reset EE procedure for ICU4M, I'll try. Thx for the tip! -
I didn't see the electrical connection there, I'll double-check. Thx!
