I am of the belief that Almost anything that can be done professionally can be done at home. You just have to figure it out and then decide if it’s worth it or not.

Personally, I think they should remove the Warning Labels from everything. It would help to kill off some of the stupid.
Think about it, lots less traffic on the highways, no waiting at restaurants, no waiting on a shower.adayrider, longbedGTs, AModelCat and 3 others Thank this. -

My theories on where cancer comes from--
Perhaps stuff we eat, drink and absorb throughout our lifetime.
Combined with the aging process. When we are young every cell in our body regenerates and multiplies on a very fast cycle. Still happens as we age but sometime around our 40's instead of a 30-90 days cycle of regeneration of our entire body's cells that time gets longer and longer between regeneration.
The aging process may introduce anomalies and errors to the regeneration process allowing cancerous cells to take root. But it could also be stuff we were exposed to during our lifetime as well, like for example burnt toast, the carbon poisons found their way deep inside our cells and built a cancer.
All we can really do is go about our daily lives as happy as we can so when it is time to go the people remember us in a fond light. -

Don't ask Ryder to do a DPF cleaning on a Friday afternoon even though they work on Saturdays. Those idiots act like you have to do an out of frame rebuild. "DPF on a weekend? Oh no, we can't do that." Me "Why not, do you not keep spare filters in stock since you have about 5000 trucks here with DPF filters?" No, we clean them, and it has to be done during the week.
I am coming to the conclusion more and more that Ryder sucks as a service department, and their maintenance program is a joke. Wrote up a tire with a leak last week, didn't get fixed. Wrote up an oil pressure sensor, didn't get fixed. They like to take your money and that's it.
OP, you need a blasting cabinet and a high pressure air source, so it's probably best to save yourself some money and remove it yourself and take it somewhere. Don't drop it, it's about $2500 to replace. -

I did successful dpf cleaning at home. no pressure washer is needed and no chemicals. hot water is needed under 30-45 psi pressure and good garden hose nozzle. firemen's garden hose nozzle works perfect.
