Thx. I doubt though I'm going to be in FL anytime soon. Think I might try the shop behind Truck World
-
I get mine at Dowd Diesel in Newberry, S.C. Luckily, I have it timed where I get both inspections done there.
FWIW, nice guy, clean shop, fair prices if you're in the area and need work done.
His shop is within 1/2 mile of I 26, real easy to get to.Allan M and HalpinUout Thank this. -
Are there any Mercer approved inspection shops near Richmond, VA?
-
On the contracts website it lists all approved shops.

The shop at the flying j just north of Richmond used to be. Double check to make sure that it still is.Woobie Thanks this.

I do too. He always goes under the truck with a few wrenches and I swear he'll do little things like set a brake and not even bill you. Great guy!roshea, Klleetrucking and spyder7723 Thank this.

Yeah my brother just poured a floor in his 40x90 pole barn and put a pit in it. It would be a great shop for my truck but only 12 ft doors...spyder7723 Thanks this.

Personally i don't see the need for a pit for a guy that just runs 1 or a few trucks. Make up some good dock ramps and pull the truck up on them. Pits are good for one thing only, changing oil. For any actual mechanical work they are a major pain in the butt.roshea and Klleetrucking Thank this.
