So my truck is parked for the next 6 months. Silage and grain is done for the year, construction work is slow, so I need something to keep me busy. I called up a guy who I sort of know through a friend. His dad has 10 dumps and 5 milk trucks. He says sure, fill out an app, take a drug test, and we'll find you some work. Next morning he calls and says he has a load of milk that needs to go about three hours away, so I jump in and head down the interstate. Wow, having 45,000lbs of milk constantly sloshing back and forth in a smooth bore tank took alittle getting used to. I get down there, they take their sample before I can offload, and they tell me there is BST in it so they will not accept it. :biggrin_25510: So I drive right back to where I started from. Basically was a 7 hour test drive. Oh well I made it back in one piece, and got alittle tanker experience.

Sorry to here about the bad luck with your first load of milk. The plant here does not reject many loads of milk. The most common reason is penicillin detected in the milk. I haul whey from the plant, a lot less headaches and no waiting.
