There's a motion in the works to allow permitted conceal carry nation wide, we will see if it passes. For now you cannot carry in every state particularly liberal states like Illinois. Don't get caught!

I'd be interested to hear if anyone has experience with being searched by DOT, and if they actually enforce it as long as you have a CCW from your home-state.

 

I can't answer for what companies allow you should ask hem. I have a concealed carry permit and I've always carried. I do not care what anyone says, I'd rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it. The exception is Canada and I stopped going there.

 

Just don't let anyone know you have one. A lot of companies have strict rules about firearms in their trucks. Make sure you understand your company policy.
