Walmart grocery dc

I've only been with walmart since May and my best week thus far was pulling reefer for 2 and a half days out of 5. Looking to transfer to mebane asap

Shoot, when I come out I'm shipped right out to NH, or ME lately. Might do a grocery load here or there

Drop and hook and all your troubles with warehousing across live docks for loading and unloading goes bye bye. The existence of docks that have you get out of that truck physically unloading or loading that trailer is a liability to your ability to turn a wheel and make money. Ive done enough that in my lifetime so that I deliberately choose carefully to run trucks without any sort of docking where possible.

And bring some money for that comcheck the DC will demand out of you.

 

I swear, reading comprehension is the most under utilized part of TTR.

I cant tell if you are making a joke. But its a new refrigerated dc near durham, nc. Really nice but not a lot of work weekly.

 

No joke, just hadn't heard of that location. LOL

 

More potential for more miles out of a gm warehouse but more money out of a grocery warehouse. Best combination of both would be a long haul of grocery with a lot of stops. For example 2x 250 reefer runs with 3 stops and a drop back at the warehouse. I only prefer reefer over dry because they pull more employees to get it off the truck asap and you have priority over anyone else who was there before you. I also like driving at night. But that's me

 

Yea its brand new. All new trucks and trailers. And more than 3 showers!!!! Wish bedford would get with the program.

 

Quit dreaming of making big money here, those days are over. Soon you'll be making just as much as you were driving a Schneider rig doing dedicated for us.
