uninstall and reinstall app from tablet, clear app data, reset device and connect to wifi again then pair the tablet directly through the BT, then open up the app and pair it again and run through set up and re validatie

 

I've been using the Big road Dashlink since last week. The only issue I'm having is the odometer reading is off every day . Furst day 10 miles then 15 miles, yesterday 48 miles. If I manually enter an odometer reading it adds the ecm mileage for the day to what I entered. So basically it doubles the actual mileage. Monday 5 hrs. Driving it showed 460 miles when it was actually 222. Anyone know how to reconcile the odometer discrepancy with the big road dashlink system?

 

Yes, I am aware of that. Not bad though. Some guys are paying for equipment and 19.99 a month.

I have definitely found my way around the interface.

 

If I'm clear on what you are saying, I believe that happens when you manually add your truck. I've noticed that the truck is automatically added when the AOBRD starts recording movement. Hope this helps.

My company decided on the Navistar OnCommand EDL. What a POS. They went the Microsoft route and pushed it out before it was ready so, I suppose, they could sell more units before the deadline. Several issues with this one:
-There is a lock screen that appears on the tablet stating that the vehicle is in motion and status can't be changed. Okay, fine. The problem is that you can't see what you have left for time before the end of the 8, 11 or 14 until you stop.
-The telematic device stopped connecting with my tablet. They are supposedly working on that.
-The stupid thing goes to the driving line the minute you start rolling, even just to pull forward to fuel the reefer. They added a Yard Move, but I have yet to use it, so I don't know how it will log things.

There are a couple other issues that need to be addressed, as well. I told my safety guy that if they don't fix this stuff, I'll be finding my own solution, even if it doesn't jibe with their back-end software. I don't have time for stupid crap like this.
