Newer trailers can be set up with shore power already. And the alternator is already in place, able to run a 2500W power inverter. I would think you could invert to 115V to power the unit, since that's what shore power would be.
Reefers will have Def and DPF next year.

And you know what reduces NOx? How about that. Full circle. They needed to implement def or something equivalent eventually and the engine manufacturers weren't going to start without a push.
