Been near 50° in SW WA for almost a week. Lol. Meanwhile my family in Arkansas has seen 8°.

On a different note, wheels up for Supulpa on Sunday, orientation begins Monday morning.

I tell you, JCT's retention pay is solid. I just got a notice that I'm getting 5 dollars retention pay I didn't even know I had coming. That's precision.

    CannonballAA and MachoCyclone Thank this.

Yes, I'm pointing out the precision level of their retention calculations. They are doing it in minutes. It surprised me. Thanks for the verification through similar experience.

Yeah they're precise when it comes to that but when it comes to the Big Blocks of hours they have no clue

Last month I had a load cancel on me and ended up sitting. I was told that I wasn't empty for 24 hours so I wouldn't get any layover pay.

Only I was empty for 25 and a half hours according to Qualcomm messaging....

That's why I'm not holding my breath on getting anything for emptying on the 31st and not being loaded until the 2nd...

Yes, you should have gotten layover pay for the load cancellation.

I've found that in the situation of your 31st preplan loading on the 2nd, you're probably at the mercy of your DM. One time, when I accepted a load picking up in Center, TX that had a 30 hour window that didn't even start until 24 hours after I was dispatched, my dm went to bat for me and got me 200 dollars pay for the day of sitting. I think it should be consistent, but it is what it is.

Yeah my dm usually swings for the fences for me but he's being told by people above him that it was a no-go for the load cancellation. Because the customer doesn't pay if it was less than 24 hours even though it was 25 and a half.....

They use the phrase cost of doing business which really ticked me off...

Is that 0.06 cent raise making them more stingy?
