CFI stands for Contract Freighters Inc. Well at least it did. They were originally based out of Joplin,MO.
In 2008 they were bought out by Con-Way Freight Con-Way was the regional LTL freight arm of Consolidated Freightways back in the 1983 and the 1990s, Con-Way wanted to expand there truck load service/business.

In October 2015 XPO Logistics bought out Con-Way and in 2016 XPO Logistics had no use for Con-Way Truck Load which was the old CFI and sold it to the Canadian Company Transforce which re-named the company CFI.

CFI is a good company for teams and solo u got to have ur permit and medical card and endorsements then they get to Joplin miss for schooling for 30 days and drive for 7.500 to 10k miles with a trainer then once done ur back to Joplin for a upgrade to a truck as long u pass and they do both male and female trainers but I did hear they allow sum male trainers train females if u need a number for recruiter pm me ill send u mine

worked there 3 yrs as otr...they suck..but so do all otr companies
