Landstar around central NY

I run a lot of loads up to New England from the South. They pay real good especially now with the rate explosion. Then I hop over to Waterford, NY just north of Albany and grab some good paying loads going back to Kentucky, Chicago, and southern Indiana. Got 3 different agents who throw me loads out of that Waterford warehouse. To avoid the brutal tolls across I-90 I run down I-88 right through Oneida and across I-86 to Erie, then from there to my receiver. Works out great.

 

Your thinking of Oneonta NY on 88 and he means Oneida NY which is a little east of Syracuse on 90. This is an older thread anyway. How'd you make out OP?

 

Havent been to Syracuse or Buffalo in years. Couldnt tell ya about those rates. Sorry.

 

That's one of the best areas. The northeast has the highest prices on the load board. If I didn't love mountains so much, I'd be out there myself!

 

Been all over the northeast and run it regularly. Just not Syracuse or Buffalo. Dont do tolls. Dont run the NY Thruway. Or PA Turnpike for that matter. Ripoffs.
