I amazes me that people can get below 30k. The lightest thing we’ve got is 34k and all our trucks are daycabs, our trailers are heavy though and most of our trucks are speced heavy.

1990 my dad had a conventional freightliner 40 inch bunk with 5-9's City Weld aluminum A-trains just under 30k. But this was custom built for this back then to haul heavy.

38K rear ends, 13 litre motor, no emissions junk, 120gal tanks, 63" flat top, all-aluminum trailer... it happens. But you won't see me pulling B-trains up the mountains in BC anytime soon.jamespmack Thanks this.
