Keep in mind Husband Wife teams or similar teams are among the most valuable in this industry. The money making potential shoudl for example both of you have 5 years in and both become salaried trainers for example. Incomes could approach 300K annually.
Companies will roll out the red carpet for a Husband Wife or similar team and pay in gold for same. Particularly one that has gained a record of safe and fast ontime experience and especially never late. When you both have your CDL's and settle out the training, mentoring etc etc etc and run together long enough, you will discover that you can just about fly somewhere, walk in to a company and drive out later with the new tractor trailer on a plum run in a few days without difficulty or trouble.
One company had us rolling towards Memphis in three hours flat as soon they had the Insurance written and signed. The delay getting a new matress and small stuff for the KW T2000 took longer than the actual paperwork etc. -
This is a quick read for you and your spouse and entertaining.

And, don't get the idea that teams are all given carte blanche and they roll out the red carpet for you. Teams can be very profitable, however every company that says they need teams does not really need teams. They can and will promise the moon, but in reality you might be hired on as the 10th back up team for the one dedicated route that needs a team. -

Looking at CFI or Schneider at this point as we could go with both really. Heard good and bad about both it seems like. Any advice on who would be better would be great at this point.
Cerberus XVI Thanks this. -
We are almost in the same situation....any more news?

We don't have pets so we could choose either. Be safe and good luck at school.
