Scooter, you are behind the times. That's what I originally did many moons ago.
I got the bolt on kit for intraax Hendrickson suspension , found it on Amazon for 550 bucks.
However , I did originally put a cut off valve on the line to the two front bags , dump the air , drive up on blocks , cut off the valve , use 2 , 2 inch straps to hold axle up, drive off blocks and air back up.
Many mercer guys have done this, works well. Just a bit of work.
Costs less than 50 to rig one up. -

Then I’d imagine that bunch would have a heart attack if they saw some of our drivers riding around with the trailer axles slid clear up to the landing gear if they could find a way to do it, AND with a liftgate hanging off the back. -
Well replaced my Coolant sensor end now the check engine light is gone! I filled that SOB up with dyeeletric
Nothing on my truck has this

Yep. That's the way to do it.

I was talking about great Dane aluminum deck steel beam trailers. And i make no claims of accuracy of the statement, just repeating what hendrickson and great Dane told me when i bought my lift axle kit from them. First from Hendrickson, who i didn't really believe so spent a week getting ahold of a structural engineer at great dane.

It did when it left the factory. The stuff dries out over time. Once a year or so take an hour and put a couple dabs in all the electrical connections. If nothing else it will help keep the water out.Highway Sailor, 1951 ford and TruckerPete1990 Thank this.
