IM looking in to SRT is it forced dispatch to Canada, what are your general areas you run, do you have to have hazmat, and what is your hometime like. In general how do you rate SRT as a whole?
Any SRT Solo drivers

I drove for them awhile. They blow in my opinion. But it's been a long time. Recent post, don't lend to it getting any better since I left.
True, they are a forced dispatch. But in the past, they always cleared you for Canada. As in, ask you of any convictions and charges you may have. They would not send you there, unless you were cleared.
The HazMat...I can't remember whether they require it or not. -
and they are owned by covenant now...so if they sucked b4, they are the pits now...
i drove for them once....really crappola equipment....and crappola management. -
I presently drive for them are they the best prob not are they the worst heavens no. They beat JB by a long shot. Now like all companies its all depending what ur willing to put up with. Like 90% of companies they are forced dispatch. I myself can get miles last week I had around 5100 miles now did I do some creative logging yes but do u have to no its all in what ur comfortable with. Plus I have a wonderful dispatcher. But I dont sit there and argue cry and complain like some do. And with the economy in the state it is, I cant complain as I do get miles i usually get loads no less
then 1000 miles so as i said before its all in what u can handle each of us it is different -
do you have to have haz mat what is your home time like what areas do you mainly run
-
no u dont have to have hazmat, we do run it however. as far as the areas we run we run all 48 and canada, no 1 area more then the other it isnt uncommon to get a run from syracuse to los angeles, then back to florida or Texas just depends on what freight is avaiable
-
how long have you been with them do you deliver to alot of meat houses can you stack your off days
-
notice the home time question was skipped ......
-
SRT has the same hometime policy, as Covenant.
Maximum of 5 days after 5 weeks out.
IF you fail to take those 5 days off, they reset, and you have ZERO. Until you've been out for another week. Then you have 1.
You can never have more than 5 days on the books, this doesn't unclude vacations. -
Do they have a minimum length that you have to stay out for ?
