In usually dump my bags. Just seems it takes a second for the truck to get going when backing up, then all of a sudden, it takes off! Lolnextgentrucker and Frank Speak Thank this.

I have one too. I like it, especially in heavy traffic around the bigger cities. Sometimes it’s annoying on I-5 where the speed limit is 55 and there’s a lot of hills because the jakes don’t kick in until you’ve coasted 6 mph higher than what your cruise is set on. So if you’re trying to cruise at 58-59 you’re constantly having to tap the brake pedal to deactivate cruise so that you don’t end up coasting 10 over.
Other than that I like it.bigcat1124 Thanks this. -
Is our shop in Winter Haven open on Sundays? Need to swing by in the am if so.

I want to say yes but not 100% sure. I rarely go to the Winter Haven yard.bigcat1124 Thanks this.

Dispatch called with a preplan. Picking up in Clewiston, FL, going to Murfreesboro, TN. I asked about the shop and it is open on Sundays. I told them I have to get my truck looked at in the am. I’m leaking oil and it’s got a slight miss. I noticed oil on my frame doing my post trip. I’ll be there first thing to get it checked out and my fridge as well. It runs but it’s warm on the inside. Have adjusted the temp inside and didn’t help.

Buddy of mine had a problem with his fridge after he accidentally left it on during 3-4 days home time. He unhooked his negative battery post then reconnected it and his started working good again. I’m assuming the low voltage did something and it “reset” apparently. Might try it. That sucks about your oil and miss. I went thru truck drama in November. Ended up getting flown home. It’s a few pages back in the thread. Hope yours isn’t too serious.

Well, after a discussion with the shop, we decided to swap trucks. The one I was in will be getting a ring sometime soon. Heading over to Plant City to see if the strawberries are as good as they were before I moved....lol

Just got to my destination here in Virginia. Delivery time says 0700 in the morning so I made it about 6 hours early. This place was pretty rough to get to once you get off of I-77 onto the Virginia backroads. Narrow with a lot of hair pin curves and steep grades. I missed a turn and had to backup a few hundred yards. Looked like I was in some kind of haunted forest. Roads were so narrow and dark I had to keep getting out and checking to see where my trailer tires were headed with a flashlight as I was backing up. Kept wondering if a cougar or something was gonna charge me when I was out of the truck. Lol.
